Little Green bottles are made from hygienic 304 stainless steel, they have no pores or cracks to harbor dirt, grime or bacteria – this makes them very easy to clean.
• Wash with warm, soapy water and allow the bottle to drain and dry.
• For superior cleaning, soak bottle in baking soda and diluted vinegar.
• Bottles are not dishwasher safe and should not be frozen.
Little Green bottles are not dual walled and should not be used to carry warm or hot liquids. These liquids will conduct through the stainless steel and may lead to injury when touching the bottle.
They should not be used to carry acidic drinks such as juices or soft drink as the acid will weaken the passive film formed on the stainless steel and result in oxidation and corrosion.
Your Little Green bottle is designed to be durable yet lightweight. Avoid dropping the bottle on hard surfaces to prevent dents and disfiguration. Painted logos are non-toxic and contain no lead. It is possible to scratch or chip the paint, as well as remove it under high temperatures, including the dishwasher.
For best use and care of your Little Green bottle, hand wash and avoid the use of abrasive agents. Washing with scourers or brushes may breakdown the passive film formed on the stainless steel and result in oxidation and corrosion.
"Stainless steel does not stain, corrode, or rust as easily as ordinary steel, but it is not stain-proof. A common misconception about stainless steel is that is not affected by corrosion."
